Well, I've been looking at bunch of Nuzlocke stuff recently. Mostly comics, but a couple of stories as well. I was thinking about trying one myself. Maybe a storylocke or something. I haven't decided on anything definite, but it does look like fun . . . and I've been so creatively bored lately that it'd probably be great to do something to get the juices flowing. But . . . well, I get attached enough to my bundles of pixels as it is. XD Whatever would I do if I went and killed one of them?

Continuing my series regarding nicknames, here are my current names from my LeafGreen version. Yes, I get both games of every region/generation. I'm terrible, I know. XD Kudzu the Venusaur (Male):
Yep. Named after that crazy vine that's taking over gardens. I don't know. I think it sounds kind of cool. Zipper the Raticate (Male):
More Rattata/Raticate name failure. I was just thinking of speed. That's pretty much it. Talon the Fearow (Male):
Personally, I think nicknaming Pokemon is one of the best parts of the games. I enjoy exercising my creativity, and I love to shre my names and hear other people's. So, I decided to blog a little bit about the nicknames I give my Pokemon. I figured I'd start with my FireRed version. Just because its Kanto and its the first game in my current gameplay order. So, here are my (current) names from FireRed, and a little explanation on each one. Enjoy! Pepper the Charizard (Female):

I like to have six Pokemon teams, with no HM Slave in my games. No particular reason for this, I just like to this. But, I have a problem. I can't decide what kind of Pokemon to fill the remainder of my teams with.
A fire type, check.
A water type, check.
A grass/electric type, check.
A wild card, check.
I can't decide what kind of Pokemon to put in those last two slots. This applies to all my games, which is why I'm not mentioning
Those of you who read my last blog will remember me worrying about my favorite character dying. Well, I sat down and forced myself to finish it today . . . and . . . he doesn't die! Joy! Never been so relieved. I'm content with his role in the climax of the book.
Now safe from spoilers, (accidental or otherwise), I'll say that I was reading Christopher Paolini's Inheritance. Contented with the ending of this book, I'm off to find something new to read! And pick new favorite character,
