Heading home! 3 days worth of flying here I come! (Need advice)

Hi all,

As most of you already know I've been doing a shiny challenge (which I invented myself, lol.) but it'll have to come to a stop during my journey home! I'm currently in the UK so I'm returning to lovely Australia tomorrow morning. So so so so, excited! Cannot wait to get home and see my pets, my family, my friends, and just everyone really! Relationships are obviously not for me.

I'm so nervous though, I've never been too good with flying on my own, and I'm still only quite young so I guess this is a rather large trip for me, by myself! I feel quite vulnerable in places like Mumbai (India) airport, especially since the guards carry GUNS, legit. AK47's or whatever, and it makes me feel so uneasy! but to be completely honest, the worst for me is Singapore, if you get caught with drugs there it's the death penalty! How scary is that. I'm completely clean, I've never touched drugs in my life, but if it so happened that some sly dawg put some in my bag then I'd be screwed. So being there will be quite scary for me!

Anyway, how do you all deal with long trips? I need some suggestions, I mean I'll have my laptop and money to spend but I can't shop for an entire two days. T_T;

XO CLEFFA OX

    I've never gone into a plane before due to fearing of getting crashed like in movies and television.

    I always worry about that sort of thing before I fly, but planes are so safe, and most of those shows are VERY exaggerated and such. I've flown a few hundred hours now, haha, so I'm slowly getting used to it. :P:P

    We go on vacation a lot in my family, so I've taken a lot of long trips. XD (California to New Zealand was the worst. :P) My advice is use that money and buy good books! Then spend the time reading. If you can sleep on planes, sleeping really uses up a lot of time too. And in the airports, just walk purposefully like you have somewhere to go. It's actually better if you're in bigger airports because the drug dealers will have more targets to choose from, so it's less likely that it'll be you.

    Ah thank you for that advice! I'm going to be in Mumbai for 23 hours :/ so a long, looong time! and I don't want to sleep there because obviously I don't trust anyone there/can't trust anyone there hahahah. but hopefully it's an easy trip, ^.^ only 14 hours in Singapore, which is alright I guess. >.<;;

    Make sure to keep an eye on your stuff (at least always keep them on you).

    With things to do, find outlets to keep your electronics charged.

    I was planning on tiring myself out tonight so I can sleep for the whole 9 hours to Mumbai, then be awake for the whole 23 hours in Mumbai so I wouldn't have to sleep ^.- go Cleffa, you so smart! hahah, but yeah watching my stuff with a hawk eye, definitely.

    xoxo

    I wish you best of luck getting back home, Cleffa. You could try and listen to some music to kill time while waiting.
