My "clean" friends

Rate this Entry
So yeah I'm one of those people that find it funny how some people try to get around some things. Namely I have a fair few people who are quite "clean", as in pretty much nothing can get by. And what does is heavily warned and watched. And then they laugh at words that aren't but that have words within them; Assonance, Obituary, those are the only ones I can think of right now. But all of the ways they get by it are just too good to be true. And when they accidentally come across something their reaction is just too good.

I understood absolutely nothing in that paragraph.

I think he's saying that 1. he has acquaintances that don't like hearing and/or try to avoid saying dirty words (they're "clean"), and 2. these acquaintances pick out dirty, or dirty-sounding, words really easily ("pretty much nothing can get by"); however, 3. these acquaintances hear but laugh at what sound like dirty words in otherwise clean ones (the "ass" in "assonance," the "bitch" in "obituary"), and 4. when they do come across dirty/dirty-sounding words, they react hilariously.

Yeah that is pretty much right. Might not make sense but it is true.
