My iPod's On button seems to be stuck. We've tried everything short of cracking it open, and so far nothing's worked. The warranty's apparently expired as well.
Plan of action?

Is it locked?
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, I remember one time when my iPod's back light wouldn't turn off. I could set the timer to two seconds, five seconds, ten seconds, twenty seconds, and thirty seconds, but it wouldn't turn off. It would act just the same as if it were set to "always on". The only way to get it to stop was to set it to "off". Finally, I gave up, turned it off, and started charging it. And when I was done charging it, all of a sudden the back light was working properly. I don't know why, or how, but that's not the point.
I think I've told you this story before, but what I'm trying to say is, charge it. Maybe when they're charged, little electric gnomes go into the iPod from the wall socket and fiddle around in the iPod, and when the gnomes are done, they go back into the wall and wait for their next assignment. That's my theory.
I hope the iPod gnomes fix yours. :)
