It's increasingly seeming like some contingent of the Pokemon fandom actually thinks the word "realistic" means "the most contrived, grotesque, grimderpy nonsense you can come up with", rather than anything that even vaguely resembles actual real life.

And I should probably stop reading badfic before I give myself some sort of frustration-ulcer. (but it's so much fun)

So now that the games have come out and revealed that the Shadow Triad and the Striaton Triplets are indeed separate people, the manga has followed suit, as we all expected. And all is fine and well.

... Except for the fact that we now have a shadow triad who wears masks patterned after the leader trio's monkeys, who use a team that was rather obviously only put together to be a fire/water/grass trio, and who imitate the triplet's poses, all for no freakin' reason. Are they just freaky ...
