Before I get to the main tooic, I'm curious to see how this new meme-in-progress is coming along (see my last blog). I know at least one of you wanted to jump on board. I wonder if anybody's used it since then (I have at least once). Curious to see how progress is coming along. :D
Anyway, the main topic is this: a thought experiment I came up with years ago. I don't know if anyone else has gotten the same idea or done any studies on it, but I came up with this independently, that's
Seriously, kill 4chan with fire.
Anyway, I thought it would be neat to at least try to start a little meme here on Bulbagarden (NOT ON 4CHAN). Here, we have this video.
And here is a comment from said video:
"I sense a new meme coming on." (You never thought you'd see a comment on YouTube with proper grammar, didja?)
So, let's at least try to anchor ourselves in the horrid
So, I decided to put forth some effort and make that .gif I've always to make. I cropped some screenshots from an episode of My Little Pony, and I got my Microsoft paint skills (if any) ready. I wasn't able to make it on the spot (through a website recommended by darkrai07, if I spelled his name right) because it was too long (it's approximately 100 frames long, to make a very rough estimate). So I decided to see how it looked by making a Windows Movie Maker project around it. It seems WMM is freezing
I love nicknames. I can occasionally get an idea in my head that I just can't let go to waste. Actually, very rarely am I simply rendered unable to come up with a name that I like. For example, Kyo the Vulpix. B|
But anyway, most of the time I manage to come up with a name that I like. Chuck the Primeape (named after you-know-who), Squirt the Blastoise, Sandy the Sandshrew (I wonder how many people chose that same name for theirs...). But there are a select few which I am quite proud
I've been wondering this for years and years. Largely since I was 11 years old. I eventually came to the conclusion that there is no point, that we might as well make the most of the time we have here on this great big rock we call home. From the very first time I heard somebody say "42", I was puzzled. What does that mean? Why 42?
Zenax referred me to a Wwikipedia article on the subject. I get it now. This is the meaning of "42":
There is no meaning.
