I got a JCX Stargazer electric guitar at a local auction for forty dollars literally about twenty minutes ago. I'm still at the auction house as I type this from my family's iPad.

I'm still lacking in assets, though. You sorta need an amp to play this thing.

I'm going to mention @Pyradox; here because she's my pseudo-kinda-sorta-maybe-de-facto girlfriend and she's going to care about this development.

Alas, they didn't have one. I'm just glad I got one. Usually guitars sell for more than I can afford here. It has pick-ups and that's good enough in my book.

This, along with slapping the strings on the pick-up studs and manipulating the whammy bar, using the whammy bar and the toggle switch to turn feed-back into music, wiping my hand on the strings to make a turn-table-like sound, unplugging the guitar and putting the bare jack to something organic or metallic, and finger-tapping, gives me a nice repertoire of techniques to use when I can't play actual notes.

Then I can get a wah-wah pedal and schnitzel really gets all Tom Morello up in here.

If you play the screwdriver slide guitar down by the pickups, you can get a noise akin to the electronically manipulated sound of screaming infants put through a wood-chipper and jamming it up with their internal organs. It's nice. Now add that to an effects pedal and you've got yourself a pretty insane guitar solo in the making.

That's almost what jabbing the strings onto the pick-up studs does, but the sound that creates is more of a howling monkey than babies in a wood chipper. I'll have to look into your method, I do need a more babies-in-a-wood-chipper-esque sound to balance out the howling-monkey and screaming-cat sounds.
