Dear Sarasota County Police Department,
I'd really hate to sound like some snot-nosed little anti-establishment punk or something, because I'm not. But you know, you owe me something.
If you look back a few blogs I've made on this website, you'll find one that confirmed my father's death. It reported that you guys searched my dad's house to find any suspicious items. You found that memory card with all the "sexts" on it, made by a certain then-13-or-14-year-old whom I will not name. I don't really blame you for coming to the conclusion that my dad was the one filming those. I mean, you did find it in his dresser. But you have to realize, it was there because the girl put it there when they ditched us while dad was out working on the cargo ship. I really wish I could've had the opportunity to explain this to you guys, but dad died in January, and now my fifteenth birthday is coming soon, so I'm assuming the trial's been cancelled.
Anyway, my main point is: you guys confiscated a bunch of stuff. My dad's computer, some old photographs of dad during his trips all over the world. Egypt, Austria, South Korea, Indonesia. Especially Indonesia. Specifically Bali. He really liked Bali.
You also confiscated a Nintendo Wii video game system. That was a birthday present (or maybe it was Christmas, I can't remember) for my younger brother. Inside of it was a disc for a video game called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I really like that game. It's mine and you stole it. Give it back.
My family has not recieved any of the items you confiscated to date. We'd like them back. So if you could please be so kind as give us back the stuff you confiscated, that would be highly appreciated.
