Cold, hard PUN-ishment (See what I did there?)

I love nicknames. I can occasionally get an idea in my head that I just can't let go to waste. Actually, very rarely am I simply rendered unable to come up with a name that I like. For example, Kyo the Vulpix. B|
But anyway, most of the time I manage to come up with a name that I like. Chuck the Primeape (named after you-know-who), Squirt the Blastoise, Sandy the Sandshrew (I wonder how many people chose that same name for theirs...). But there are a select few which I am quite proud of. They are the most inspired and PUN-ishing nicknames I have ever bestowed upon my Pokemon. Here they are:
Ashley the Pikachu
Yup. Ashley the Pikachu. And guess what I would've named her if she was a boy?
Terry the Diglett
She was originally named Diggit. But I had an epiphany at Lavender Town. I rode right to the Name Rater's house and changed her name to Terry. I like it a lot better than Diggit.
H.P. the Gastly
Named after horror author HP Lovecraft. A less unusual name could've been Edgar (after American horror writer Edgar Allan Poe), but H.P. is not only a reference to HP Lovecraft, it is also a pun on Pokemon Health Points (HP). It's the perfect name for a Ghost-type Pokemon, in my opinion.
I'm curious to see any strokes of creative genious you guys may have had in naming you Pokemon. What's the name you're most proud of?
And to commemorate the creation of the "indifferent" smiley, I shall make another one.
