Finally! Something that's not hate. I'm using my Windows 8 laptop right now, and it's beautiful. I mean, there is a bit of a learning curve, but personally it wasn't too hard. There are a lot of guides on the net now.
I don't consider it a good thing if you need a guide to use basic features in a windows operating system. Windows 7 was better. XP ofcourse, tops them all.
I don't hate Windows 8. In fact, I think it's fantastic for tablets and that new Windows phone. I just don't think it's practical for a desktop or laptop PC. It looks like Microsoft was trying to create a half-tablet/phone half-PC hybrid OS, and they nailed the tablet/phone half, just not the PC half.
