I know quite a few Dexters... is it the original series Pokedex... Dexter "Serial killer killer" Morgan, or "DEEDEE, DON'T PUSH THE BUUUTTON" Dexter

okay, okay, I'll find out when I get it myself, just figured I'd make a lame attempt at a laugh. wouldn't you want to laugh if you heard the title character of Dexter's laboratory as your pokedex... before turning off the voice completely.

They should've used their cry like in the original Pokedex.

Here's an idea: switch the Language to Japanese if you prefer it.

If you saw the Japanese videos on this application or read anything about this application, you knew this was coming.
There are two things that don't happen with that speech: Pokédex entry readouts themselves, like in the anime (which would be a nice optional touch is the space allowed it), and pretty much the only thing that is voiced is reading out the name of the Pokémon (this only happens in the Pokédex and AR Viewer when hovering over other Pokémon).

Also, it's a nice change from just hearing their cries all the time. At least the voice tells you what Forme you're looking at.
