I hate Cars.

My minirant on Cars, the franchise by Pixar and Disney.

The movies were fine, but I hate seeing all of these merchandise about Cars. About once a day, I see something Cars-related.

I have no idea why Disney makes so much Cars merch, or why it sells so well, but I'm getting tired of it.

I'd just wish it would stop...I hate Mater...

DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF YOU LIKE CARS.

I didn't mind Cars when it was first released, but when Cars 2 was released, I realized how bad Cars was. I think I can pretty safely say that Cars and Cars 2 were the worst Pixar films.

The Cars franchise were poor films in comparison to Toy Story or really any Pixar film. The toys sell well because little children like them, and they like the films, simple. The toys sell well because they are easy to market, they have established charaters, can make accessories for the toys, such as race tracks and modified cars. They're easier to sell than cowboys and astronauts.

Hate as you like, but like every other Pixar film, Cars provides covering issues that are current in real life (the first film deals with new routes destroying popularities of local towns, and the second film deals with alternate fuel).
