I got addicted to TVTropes. I need to see more of the BIG DAMN HEROES and SCREWED BY THE NETWORK entries.

I've been there. After 5 or so years you'll be able to leave links alone because you've read the trope several times already. But you can never completely "quit" tvtropes. It'll stay with you. Forever. See a show or movie you like? You'll look it up. Wondering if that interesting page on "writer existence failure" has been updated since the last time you checked? You'll look it up. Not to mention the useless amounts of vocabulary and trivia you'll pick up. Sure, you think that knowing how the cast of Alf hated each other will come in useful someday. But it never will. Get out while you still can. Get out before it grips you.
