Sighs with relief.....

I mentioned in my last blog about my UV mapping of my 3D model. Well I continued with my model today when things went ugly with the rig.
It started not working the way I wanted and I even broke the rig somehow at one point forcing me to import my earlier rig from an earlier file. Thank god I keep multiple save files because you never know when your going to need it.
Then the thing kept spazzing out and it started frustrating me to no end trying to fix it.>_>
I actually managed to fix it and it's working great now. No more spine bending in weird directions when moving the model, no more eyes flying out of head......
I really hate being a beginner at 3D.=/
I prefer 2D because it's much easier and I know what I'm doing.=P
Though I am determined to make a 3D character this year despite my lack of knowledge on 3D character modelling so it's no surprise I have no idea what I'm doing half the time. Luckily there's so many tutorials online.=)
That said after getting the rig up and going and getting the UV texture perfect and the skin weights half done I'm calling it a day. Nearly 9:00pm now which is better than the other nights where I was up really late.
Anyway I might play a game like that monster rancher game I wanted to play last night but couldn't.
Might start it again actually so it's a fresh start.=)
