Saw Pokemon movie 15 in theatres.

It was awsome.=D

I enjoyed every minute of it and there were plenty of people in the theatre aswell.^-^

There's nothing like the experience of seeing Pokemon on the big screen.

So now I've seen Pokemon movies 1, 2, 3, 14 (white) and 15 in theatres. It would be cool if they keep coming in future.^-^

Other than watching the odd DP episode every now and then on my DP DVD's, I have been watching through Hoenn very slowly.

When I say slow it's usually 2 episodes whenever I feel like it and progress through it slowly.

Thanks to the suggestion from The Fighting Misty in my last blog I decided to give hoenn another go. Unlike the other times it seems to be going a little better this time.

I mean it's clicking a bit better. It's not my most favourite but still good. So I'm still very casual with it. Watching it slowly seems to work best for me.

I like it a little better than orange islands so far though I'm not sure how much higher it'd go as my favourite list changes as time goes on.

I've also been watching unova season 15 as of late. Just half of it though since that's all the DVD's that have been released. For Aussies not aware Season 15 Rival destinies collection 1 is out on DVD in Australia.

I ran through the entire 25 episodes in 2 days.XD

I like Unova despite it's oddities I guess.

I'm going to see Pokemon movie 15 in Aussie theatres.=D

I've been browsing around places but haven't really been posting anything much these days. Lots of other interests going on.^-^;;;;;

Anyway just thought I'd post a few things I've been looking into as of late.

New gen games.
I have heard about the new gen games and I know I'll be picking Fennekin. That's very different for me since I always go for the water type first but I feel the fire type is just too cute this time plus I am a huge fan of foxes.^-^

There's no way I'm evolving it however.XD

I can't bare to evolve something so cute.=3

I'm planning to just buy one of the versions instead of both. I'm too backlogged with Pokemon games to actually finish 2 new Pokemon games. One is more than enough.

Currently playing
I'm currently trying to finish Diamond version because I love sinnoh and do want to complete the pokedex and the other aspects before playing another game.

I'm also playing the ace attorney games again which I love.=3

Pokemon anime wise

Current DVD's:
I have the Australian giant collectors Sinnoh set. For those unaware you can now get kanto and orange islands, Johto, Hoenn and sinnoh large sets now here.

Also there are collections (part 1 and 2) of kanto being released aswell in some of the retail stores. Yes I know it seems a bit pointless (considering we have full boxsets already and a giant set of it aswell) but they've done it. I actually saw a collection set today in Big W. Will probably come in handy for those who have not much access to places that sell the big boxset however since these are sets mainly for stores that refuse to stock the boxsets normally.

Australia's falling behind with BW but at least we now have the the full season 14 boxset now which I bought to replace my collection sets. I wasn't going to get the full set but the collection sets looked weird on the shelf next to all the full sets.^-^;;;;;

I also have movie 14 on blu-ray in a double pack which Australia also has out.

Future Pokemon DVD's
Season 15 for Australian's will start coming to DVD next month.

Pokemon movie 15 will come to DVD in Australia in March. The movie will come to DVD and blu-ray in Australia.

What Pokemon series I've been watching

I have officially watched sinnoh way too many times in english and yet I still can't get enough of it.XD
I don't know. I just like the whole feel of it.=3

Other than that I am currently watching season 14 again when it comes to BW. It's not the best series but I don't find it too bad. I know there's been complaints on the net towards the series (the league being the most recent complaints I've seen on many sites) but I haven't seen beyond season 14 yet to really form an opinion myself since I'm sticking closely to the dub and waiting till australia releases season 15.

Season 14 seems okay. I find the show doesn't take itself seriously and well it's different.=/
The episodes I tend to like are Lenora's gym, the minccino episode when it's caught and the ducklett episode being some highlights I like from my rewatch. I'm halfway through now and am taking my time. It's a good way to stall until season 15 gets released.^-^;;;;

I haven't seen enough of it yet to really decide what I think of it though..........

Other stuff
Digimon series 2 first collection is out from madman Australia. It's pretty good. No announcement for the 2nd half yet. Hopefully it's announced soon. I really want the rest of it.

Been watching lots of Tsubasa reservoir chronicles, Cardcaptor sakura (which the entire series is on DVD in Australia japanese with subtitles only) and random cartoons.

That's all I've been doing anyway aswell as what I've been eyeing.^-^

I haven't really been doing much as of late.

However I have run through english Pokemon sinnoh anime dub so many times now I've lost count. If you haven't already guessed I'm running through it again.XD

I really like that series.=3

Other than that I've been watching other stuff like cardcaptor sakura, Garfield and friends and Inuyasha.

Pokemon black and white movies are on blu-ray in Australia now. I have my copy but I haven't played it yet.=P
I found JBhifi the best place to pick it up from personally.

A giant Hoenn DVD collectors set is coming to Australia in October.

Starters I'm playing Kingdom hearts 3D on critical mode which has been alot of fun.

Secondly I've messing with online a bit. We got a wireless router a while ago.Yay. Though I'm still using my Nintendo USB when I'm in my room. Too far from the router in there.XD

I've been messing with the 3DS browser, the eshop and even the multiple downloads. I've also used the GTS a bit in both Diamond and Black versions.

However I'm a bit puzzled on one thing. I can't seem to connect my Pokemon conquest game online at all anymore. I once got it online when we first got the new router and it was after we got the new router in so the router change was not an issue since I first connected it online with the new router.

However ever since then error, error, error, error. Can not even get it online to even look at downloading anymore missions.

It's an aussie conquest game but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Also Just to note again my pokemon diamond connects perfectly on both the 3DS, DSlite and through both the USB connector and the router.

If it were an issue with older DS games Diamond should be having the same issue but that's not the case. Diamond connecting perfectly with no errors.

I can't get conquest to connect using anything. Doesn't work on DSlite, doesn't work on 3DS, doesn't work using the router or the nintendo USB connector.

Yet every other Pokemon game work fine. From Diamond to black I can still access online.

The only other thing I can think of is the server but seriously I haven't seen anyone else have the issue so it's hard to swallow the server being an issue. I'll keep trying even though I've been trying for a week. Maybe a different time of day might work better.=/

I'm just about ready to give up.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe my Pokemon conquest wifi part of the cartridge decided to somehow break after one use. It's the only other explanation................

I'm not bothering with the anime sections anymore. This forum wasn't too bad and in some cases enjoyable still but the other sites are terrible. What made it worse I fell back into old habits I would have rathered remained buried. In order to avoid this happening again I'm avoiding anime talk on every site.

It's just not worth it if it effects my health and behind the scenes debates makes me forget why I watched the show in the first place which I dislike aswell.

Anyway I decided on all sites because experience has taught me that the sites and forums to do with the anime are ever changing. You never know when things will get worse so best to avoid it all together.

I have talked about the idea of avoiding the anime section before but I'm not falling back this time round. I'm fed up personally which is alot more than how I felt the other times. The attachment to reading the section has practically died.

I'll stick to games talk wise. I can handle those alot better and I enjoy the discussions far more. While I may not look it but even back in the 4kids era I was far more into the games than the show. I'm going back to that. The anime is just going to be that side thing I watch again.

I'll still watch the anime though. I enjoy the english version from season 1 to current and like the japanese version aswell. I have every episode so far on DVD and even the movies.

Favourite series are kanto and sinnoh english version wise since I am more a english version fan.

I'm almost finished my marathon. I am past the half way point of season 14. Once I finish there'll be a break from the anime and I'll be looking at other shows. I'll be waiting for season 15 to release on DVD. Though first will be the blu-ray copies of Victini movies Australia's going to release.

I will still talk to friends every now and then about the show however.=)

I got a english copy of Pokemon white recently. Before I only had a japanese copy of this. I am going play through it without preplanning anything.=)

It's going to be my main offline Pokemon game i play over and over like the good old days since I don't want to start again my japanese white and my english black.

It's been such a long time since I blogged. Sorry to start this off on a sour note.

In other news I'm a huge kingdom hearts fan.=3

Pokemon black and white collection 2 DVD's are out now in some stores in Australia. So the entire of season 14 is now available in Australia in otherwords.

I've got my copy but I can't find my camera to get a picture up. Just thought I'd give a heads up though.

The DVD cover has Iris, Ash and Cilan plus Axew, tepig, snivy, oshawott, Pikachu and pansage on the front.

I'm quite happy with what I've watched so far.^-^

Crystal repair

As everyone would know most original GSC have died from the dreaded dead battery. My Gold, silver and Crystal all died a long time ago battery wise and stopped saving.

Years ago I replaced my gold version battery. It was a success and it worked. I suspect it'll need yet another battery in the next few years.

Anyway I was bored yesterday night/really early morning today and decided to replace my crystal battery. I forgot how hard it is to pull those connectors off.^-^;;;
I have learnt that it's not a good idea trying to replace a battery at 2am in the morning.

Due to being so tired I started getting frustrated when the bottom connector refused to budge no matter how hard I tried to pry it loose.

I ultimately scratched the circuit board where the battery would normally sit 3 times and you can actually see the scratch marks.o_O
I even scratched my fingers aswell.

I did end up replacing the battery. I am actually shocked the game it's still working despite the scratches. They must have not hit a vulnerable spot.

It's never a good thing to scratch the circuit board usually because it's the main reason the game keeps working.

I'm very very lucky. That's all I can say.

Anyway if anyones wondering yes the game is saving again and the clock is running as normal.

The heart of the Pokemon anime.(in my opinion)

Something I've been thinking about.

Personally I believe it's the light heartedness that continues to entertain kids all over the world. The excitement to see what will happen next in Ash's story and the enjoyment of watching the journey. The fact it lightens up a kids day no matter what episode it is or what season or even movie it is.

When I saw Pokemon the movie white in theater ages ago and how excited people were, it became something I would never forget for a long time. Nothing compares to being amongst fans who truely enjoy the show for what it is. From the old who watched since season 1 to the young getting into it. It was quite the experience.

The idea that this show could potentially last 10, 20, 30 or even 50 years and entertain many generations of children and still brighten up their day really makes me happy. It may not last that long but it has potential.

It could go through many casts and many handlers and still entertain children for many many years. That's because it's a light hearted and fun kids cartoon made to entertain. It's Pokemon at heart no matter how much it changes.

That to me is the heart of Pokemon. The heart is what keeps Pokemon going till this very day.

Why am I thinking this?

Watching lots of Bugs Bunny and looney tunes has got me thinking. That's all.

Now that's a cartoon that's lasted a long long time. Many casts and many styles and yet it still continues. I have old and current. The old is very different to the current. Bugs and Daffy are different back in the early days and yet it still keeps going. Starting right back to when looney tunes shorts (like Porky pig and before) were Black and white and in theatre......
Back when the stuff was released on film reels to the public. That is a long time ago before my time.

That's because while things have changed it's still looney tunes at heart.

It's why I love looney tunes. Such a history. While it has ups and downs it still finds a way to entertain a new generation in some shape or form.

Pokemon to me is like this. The longer is goes on, the older it gets and the more changes it goes through and yet it's still Pokemon. The heart of the show. Looking forwards to enjoying more adventures in the future.^-^

Watching DVD's and listening to music.

When I feel stressed or the fandom gets to me I listen to music from my favourite games and shows. It's nice to back away into what I like and not worry about what others think. I use to do it alot as a kid. However after a certain point I started worrying what others thought of me about my interests. I tried to fit in which was a mistake and as a result I had never really truely felt relaxed until recent times. Moving away and focusing on what I like really helped me alot when I was away from the forum ages ago. I don't care what anyone thinks of me anymore.
I'm me. This is who I am and if people don't like it then that's their problem.

When it comes to relaxing currently I like to listen to BGM from Pokemon movie 14.
I also like listening to the english movie theme tune from Pokemon movie 14 aswell because I really like it.

Legend of zelda windwaker music calms the nerves.

DP music in general is nice.

Sonic music I find gets me excited.

Watching Pokemon movies from movie 1-14 english is what I'm enjoying at the moment. I'm also watching episodes based on the Pokemon focused in the movies.

I'm up to movie 6.

So yeah I've only rewatched 5 of the 14 movies.

Movie 1-3 are nolstagic. Movie 4 is good though I can't stand the ending credits song.

Movie 5 for some reason I can barely take seriously yet I enjoy it. Not sure why.
Something amusing about Ash chasing a girl.XD

When I'm bored online I start watching BW episodes and DP episode on Pokemon.com aswell.

If I'm not in the mood to watch Pokemon I watch something else. I've been getting into a Bugs bunny and daffy duck mood as of late. The really old cartoons are very nolstagic for me since my parents fed me on them when I was a kid. They are also what inspire me heavily to being an animator.

On the side sometimes I like messing with my Nintendogs on my 3DS and trying to get as many streetpasses as possible.

So yeah that's what I enjoy personally.

I wish there was a way to ignore actual threads so I can you know avoid getting curious and going in. The thread isn't doing anything bad, I just find myself getting annoyed by the conversation when I somehow always seem to find myself getting curious and reading the stupid thing.

There's this one thread in the anime section that's really getting on my nerves that I just want an ignore button for.>_>

What's the best way to ignore a thread when you have curiousity too strong to ignore?

I have the bw Pokemon movies on DVD.=)

Australia released them only recently.

White is definately my favourite. It also carries memories of when I saw it in theatre a while back.=D

Love the movie. ^-^
Personally I really enjoyed it.

Victini is so so cute in the movie and I'm glad I saw it in theatre ages ago because I won't be forgetting that experience for a long time especially how awsome all the fans were in that theatre.=D

I really like the end song aswell of white.

However black's alright. My brother prefers black.=)

I really hope they consider getting the next movie in theatre aswell. I would definately go to it.^-^

I'm thinking of going through my movies and mini movies.

What should I watch?

I finished watching an inspector gadget boxset the other day. I have not one idea why I decided to buy a boxset of 64 episodes of that show ages ago.....

I like the show but I think I probably would have been better buying one of the smaller collections of that. I mean that show is very repetitive.XD

It took me forever to finish but I finished it.=D

Now I am going onto watching something else.

Now what to watch next?
