Black Tea & Tetris

Okay. My dad and I went back to the apartment to check and see if everything was safe, we were allowed to go back inside and it smelled like smoke (as to be expected) but absolutely nothing was harmed by fire nor water. The first thing I did when I went inside the dark and cold apartment was check my room to see if Russia was left unharmed. I sighed in relief and told my father that every single thing was okay. Our electricity will be down for a while, and our water system is unusable, but other than those things, everything is alright.

I'm currently at my mom's house where I have electricity and heating. I wasn't thankful for having divorced parents until now. XD My brother and dad were the only two of us to not have the scary experience. Quite honestly, I'm glad my sister and I were home to experience something like this together, as we don't really get along and now have something to relate to.

I'm thankful and extremely lucky that the firefighters got to my apartment complex before the fire got too uncontrollable, but I can't stop thinking about how the neighbors on the top floor of the adjacent apartment's lives will change so much by this. My own life will probably be affected, and I will probably get stronger after this incident, as well as everyone else near the area.

So yeah. I am just fine, guys. My family is split up, but we're all okay. (Brother is at his friend's house, sister is at her friend's house, father is at his friend's house, and I'm at my mom's house.)
