With the new Sailor Moon upcoming as a 2013 Summer anime, I'm planning to rewatch the old Sailor Moon.

Yup.

All 200 episodes.


The thing that makes it possible is that I can just skip some obvious parts of the episodes.

1. OP themes - approx 1 minute and 30 seconds
2. ED themes - approx 1 minute and 30 seconds
3. Eye catches - approx 30 seconds
4. Transformations - 1 to 3 or 4 minutes, depending on how many girls have to transform. 2 minutes 30 seconds average.
5. Magical Attacks!! - 1 to 3 or 4 minutes, depending on how many people take up time to chant the magic words and the time it takes for the attack to actually land on the enemy - plus the enemy melting away painfully. 2 minutes 30 seconds average.

Skippable bits - about 10 minutes.


I watched an episode and skipped all five of those - and it took less than 15 minutes or so XDD. I can do this LOL


Maybe I should do a summary blog on all 200 episodes for Sailor Moon fans... XDD ??

    Sailor Moon is awesome, but surely the transformations and attacks are part of the fun? You can't beat the entertainment value of Star Gentle Uterus. Plus, Uranus and Neptune get awesome music with theirs.

    I'm currently rewatching the whole thing myself because of my self-imposed mission to draw every Sailor Moon character. I'm a little way into the Black Moon arc at the moment, which is, unfortunately, my least favorite stretch of the show.

    While I agree they are part of the fun, it takes up rather too much time ;_;. Still, I did miss those flashy transformations a lot over the years, so while not every episode, maybe every other episode XDD

    I just finished up to episode 6, and I'm enjoying the nostalgia XDD and lovely Tuxedo Kamen
