Just wut went wrong in the game?! - Can't get the guy ;_;

So I was playing Princess Maker 4 again, and found out a way to speed through things and skip stuff.

I had failed so many times just to get THAT BOY (the boy in the green vest) to marry my 'daughter' (the blonde), so this time, I wanted to make SURE he took her.

I looked up several guides where there were plenty of comments thanking for the guide since they all got the desired results - and followed the steps exactly as written. Everything was going as planned... until the last few weeks in the game.

I don't know what happened, but something went wrong - horribly wrong, and my daughter ended up saying goodbye to me to live in the forest alone.


SERIOUSLY WUT


I discovered that I hadn't triggered the last few events that was necessary for the desired ending, but I had no idea how it went wrong because I did exactly as told in the guide. I even asked the author for the guide, but no reply ;_;


...simulation games can really make you frustrated ;_;

    @Contrary;
    It's a simulation game where you raise your 'daughter' to whatever you want, and get her to marry anyone you want. You have to raise her from 10 to 17, and have her take classes or jobs to raise certain parameters and trigger events by visiting places.

    No wonder I am not a fan of simulation games. I could imagine the pain someone would go through just to get a desired outcome.

    Better luck next time, I suppose.

    @Contrary; I don't think there was an 'assassin' job ending, but there are many others, like being a Hero, General, Priestess, Queen, Witch, Mafia Godmother, Barmaid, Idol, Artist, Demon Queen...etc etc, there's also endings which indicate not jobs, but situations - such as killing the Demon King, or living in the dark forest, etc etc.


    @Berrenta; It really is painful, but once the desired outcome is achieved, there's this epic awesome happiness overwhelming XDD
    I guess I should try later... the boy kinda made me dislike him since he just wouldn't marry my 'daughter'.
    And this was my fifth try ;_;
