seriously. How to write a story on paper without making it sound stupid?

write it all out in its stupidity, identify the stupid parts, revise them. The important part is to get the stupid out, and everything with it.
The last time I thought of a nice story, I decided to write it as well. Now, it's a 41-chapter fanfic that's more boring than listening to Nyan Cat for 20 hours... It's really difficult to do it, you should ask help from someone capable.
It takes patience and commitment. Write your story as it flows naturally from your imagination to the written page. Then, read it aloud. How does it sound? How does it pace itself? I tell everyone; if you have a story in you, let it out. Don't be afraid to ask for help either. Whether it's fan fiction or something original, if you have a seed, then plant it and allow it to grow, let no one stifle you. If you need any help, I'd gladly accept any discussions.
Just write, and accept the stupid-sounding parts, then post it, then get feedback; it might not be that stupid, and if it is, then people will tell you how to correct it. Trying to get it right the first time around is the only stupid part, because even after years of writing, I still discover things that I've been doing wrong.
