The student hall in our school had been under construction during the winter, and when after school started, the women's lounge was gone.

Why did they ever had to get rid of the women's lounge?? It was one of the last remaining good places to stay at school - the last 'welfare'-ish service the school had to offer us after all that stupid class-cuts and creating near unacceptable school policies.
