I gave a presentation including Pokemon

I attended a two-day workshop on storytelling presentation, and we were asked to give presentations about whatever we want.
1. Theme must not be offending
2. Be creative
I wasn't sure on what I should do, but I decided to include Pokemon in my PowerPoint, which reduced my workload considerably.
I found a newspaper article that was published one year ago on Pokemon's international success, so I included that. And threw in a few facts about Satoshi Tajiri (his bug-catching hobbies and love for games and how he's the CEO of Game Freak.)
I can't remember HOW I actually got through my speech, but I received a few notes from the workshop mentor
Good points
- using a subject that everybody knows, yet nobody thought of using.
- loud, brilliant voice perking up people.
Needs practice points
- being too nervous
- speech pace was uneven.
I'm glad I used pokemon as part of my presentation because I felt a little more comfortable preparing because it was what I knew best - what I could be confident about.
I'm actually surprised I managed to pull if off. This was way too much stress for me. It was so difficult to stand in front of people when I'm afraid of people.
But I was pretty proud of myself when I received that certificate at the end of the workshop.
