I didn't want to post anything regarding the Eeveelutions because they're already one of the best representing their stats. Besides, the only forms of Eevee I had were Vaporeon and Umbreon - the rest I never even raised.
However, Umbreon is a notable pokemon, so as the last fav stat pokemon on my list, I decided to choose Blacky XDD
Design-wise, I love Umbreon XDD Look at how it is sleek and slim - I bet its fur would be shiny XDD
Battle-wise... I won't really recommend it XDDD
When I first tried to evolve Eevee into an Umbreon, it was rather difficult. Eevee was, of course, very weak and didn't have a large movepool. It fainted in battles very easily and raising happiness was a challenging task.
Umbreon is also a difficult pokemon itself. It doesn' have a large movepool, and the moves it can learn via level up are hardly of any use. So a lot has to be taught. Umbreon had been good up till Gen4 at least with a STAB Dark Pulse learned by TM, but not really good in Gen5. Of course it can still learn moves like Shadow Ball and Psychic, but those are the only useful thing to teach Umbreon. I wonder why they got rid of Dark Pulse TM in Gen5.
Heck, Eevee can learn Bite, but why can't Umbreon learn Crunch? I really don't understand why they didn't give Umbreon more good Dark-type moves.
Still, Umbreon can be a good staller. The only attacks to watch out are physical Fighting/Bug moves. The rest wouldn't OHKO Umbreon. Believe it or not, but I once had an Umbreon that survived a Bug Buzz attack. True Story.
Though, summing everything, Umbreon isn't really the kind of pokemon I'd recommend to people. Of course, I always try to get an Umbreon because it looks so cool and pretty, but I don't really use it in battles anymore...
