Just when I thought Official Nintendo Magazine was being trustworthy with their last list, they started losing some with their new list:

There's way too many third-party characters on this list (it can only be 1-2 to go alongisde with Snake), and Sakurai has already denied adding Sukapon because of his complex appearance. Also, there isn't any Pokemon reps on the list.

    Yeah, this appears to just be a wish list. Rather disappointing.

    The only ones out of those that have any chance are Professor Layton, King K. Rool, Waluigi, Bowser Jr, Mega Man, and maybe Pac Man. And Geno's very unlikely to make a comeback.

    Geno's the least likely to ever make it into a Smash Bros game, out of the characters on that list. I get people have been wishing for him since the days of SSBB speculation, but you have to be real. It won't happen.
    Despite being a Mega Man fan, I wouldn't agree with him appearing in SSB myself. Sonic and Snake getting in were special cases, but that's not a license to fill the game with 3rd Party Characters imo.

    I thought the title of the article made it clear it was only a wish list.

    For a wish list, I find it to have pretty lame characters. I also think they needed at least one from Zelda and Pokemon.
