Just wondered if there are many TCG players round these here parts? :D

I've been into the TCG majorly in the last few weeks. I have beeen busy constructing an all powerful deck than can keep up with the best of them. Pokemon TCG online is such a great tool to test out possible combinations before going ahead and actually buying the cards and it's a bunch of fun too.

Every person i have spoken to on there whilst playing have been friendly and seem like they are enjoying themselves even when losing, a stark contrast to the COD community. It's a nice relaxing activity as much as anything but will playing the TCG online be good enough preparation for an actual event? I have never played a serious player face to face i have only played friends so i intend to find out what it's like when i start heading to events at the start of next year starting with the city championships.

Anyone else playing at events next year?

I would...if they allowed older cards to be played.

I got over 10,000...but 99% of them aren't legal playing cards now...

iIsuppose that's how they keep the game fresh and so they can keep making money. You can play online with the free decks that are provided, some of the new sets are really interesting :)
