Reviews have started coming out. Get ready for endless complaining about scores.
Theyve been out
*sighs*"The show where everything is made up and the points don't matter"
How is getting 8's and 9's from pretty much every reviewer complaint worthy?
A lot of the scores I've seen are rather good, so I don't see as much complaining happening this time around. Possibly the only outcry I can see will be from Gamespot's score, and only from those who insist that X/Y deserve nothing less than a 9. But an 8 really is a solid score, all things considered - certainly better than the last few Pokémon games that they rated.
In today's gaming industry
Anything below that is a F and is garbage.
I don't blame reviewers for deducting points for a one-dimensional story, it's true that more detail to it has been added over the years, and that it can still be fun and entertaining to many, but some changes in the formula won't hurt anyone.
