When a company makes record quarterly profits, it's the absolute worst thing that could possibly happen and you should sell all your shares immediately.

When a company had a 45% decrease in income from last year, lost money in the year, and doesn't have high hopes for the upcoming quarter, it's excellent news that warrants a spike in share value.

If you're knowledgeable you know which companies I'm talking about.

    well with the dow rising at under 14000. that means we are going into another recession exclaims " top economic officials"

    Apple? Their stock was tumbling all last week. I don't invest, but I stay on top of these things.
