just when i think i finally got a good team for the inter. wifi tornoment, i still get my ass kicked WHYYYY? D:
What's your team, their moves, and natures? :o
What's your team? And don't worry, you just need time and a little luck. Then you'll be rolling in wins!
Scolipede -crunch -steam roller -rock climb Tornadous -air cutter -air slash -crunch -psychic Heatren -lava plume -earthquake Empoleon -brick break -ice beam -flash cannon Victreebel -leaf blade Terrikoin -sacred swoard -stone edge some moves are gone because sine they are in the battle box, i don't have a good memory of them unless i am actually playing right this second.
*Resist urge to go on a competitive playing rant* Well the team is well rounded, but maybe if you taught them some better moves to take advantage of their stats?
yea, taking advantage of their natures helps,

Then in that case definitely take a look at their natures! For every Pokemon there's a few natures that can bring out their full potential imo. And if you really want to get competitive (even if it's just to a degree) I suggest learning about IVs, and EVs cause every stat point can make a difference when battling. And finally the final vital ingredient to training up Pokemon is their movesets, I suggest going into battles with rounded movesets rather than sets with two types of the same move like your Tornadus having Air Slash and Air Cutter since it's a waste of a moveslot and you can probably teach it something better. :)
also think of priority moves to use like Fake-out and U-turn, they really help
If you wanna try inter tournaments, you have to get into the 100% of competitive training. EVs, IVs, natures, moves, items, and even Pokemon choices have to be made. For example, Victreebel/Scolipede aren't considered quite powerful in competitive. The best way to learn is to try an online battle simulator, build a team there, and test it. As soon as you find out the perfect match, it's a bit of race to breed it the way you want, but it really makes a difference for an international championship.
