I've been thinking...

Rate this Entry
I've been wanting to do a blog (tumblr since MRA is political) or video blog about men's rights and double standards. I've been passionate about this for a long time and yes, I have been bashed, belittled and hated on (mostly by liberals and feminists) because I am a female MRA. But that hasn't silenced me and that hasn't stopped me from speaking my mind. It will never stop me from doing something I love doing, helping my fellow men in distress.

I deal a great respect for men and I like to see them treated with respect. However, nowadays the only way a man can get respected is if he is overly masculine. Not only that, but the modern definition of a respectable man in a nutshell is someone who is there to act as a disposable shield for women. And also someone who never puts their hands on them... yeeeh.

What do you think? I want to do a tumblr thing on this, just so I can express myself. I am open to all comments.

    Whatever the reason, whatever the cause, whatever the results - if it isn't illegal and there's no law saying that you shouldn't, then I'd say you do what you want to do.

    After all, expressing yourself is a good thing to do.

    Personally I think the mens right movement is as silly as the white rights movement (and I'm a white male) but if you want to make a blog about it, by all means nothing is stopping you.

    I also do think it's a bit odd that we can't make political blogs here
    I think that we should be able to discuss opinions as in mafia games (those get more heated than any blog I've seen here :V) and only comments that break the flaming/spam rules should be forbidden.

    Hey, if you feel you need to speak out on an issue, I say go ahead. C:

    Though, I had no idea there was such a thing as a men's rights movement. o_O;

    I would respect feminism if it wasn't just white teenage girls complaining on tumblr why men suppress them.

    And male rights aren't going to change anytime soon, since society has laid out that the ideal male is basically what you said.

    What if I told you that there are feminists outside of Tumblr?!
    :O

    Yes, this is true!

    Though there ARE feminists outside of tumblr, my statement still stands that they are teaching women and girls to see men and boys as a roadblock to their success. Feminism does have a dark side that people tend to overlook. :(
