Remember when PETA attacked Mario for their use of the Tanooki suit and even made a game out of it? (though they admitted they were kidding)

After that, do you remember them attacking Pokemon for "enslaving" animals? And made a game out of it?

Now apparently they are after Assassin's Creed because there's whaling in the game. http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidthier/2013/03/06/peta-attacks-assassins-creed-4-for-including-whaling/

I know what most people are thinking: Kore wa garakutadesu! Well to be honest, I am on the fence about this one. Well because it IS a mature rated game and I highly doubt anyone's going to want to become whalers after playing this game. I think the one reason why most of us even play video games is because we get to do things that we know we can't do in RL. Whaling itself is banned from many countries, excluding Japan.

I'm not sure...

"People's Creed for the Ethical Treatment of Whales"

That should be their next big title.

Given how Assassins Creed is an M rated game series, and all the previous games were butchered E rated games with more gore added as a form of fear propaganda to the "children audiences" that they aimed the previous flash games at, they're no longer doing that, now they're just attacking whatever game is popular as a way of aggravating everyone.

You know you are doing exactly what PETA wants. They are attention whores. The more you talk about them the more they will keep doing this shit.

Children clearly won't be playing the Assassin's Creed series, so the "People for the Evil Treatment of Assassins" really have no excuse this time. Soneone sue them up the ass!
