A Wrestling Blog: Big Show Ruins the Show, Austin Aries the Sorcerer, Marry Me AJ Lee

This week's Raw was, well, awful. Big Show hogged the screen time, nothing notable happened (unless you count Dolph Ziggler splitting from the Hollywood Blondes 2.0 to be notable), and just about nothing else happened.
Not everything was a steaming pile of shit this week, though. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk had a superb match that was only made better by the appearance of AJ Lee. I'm telling you folks, this girl is a wizard. She made the match twenty times better than it had to be. Kane is also making this feud even more superb. He hasn't done much, but if it leads to more Punk and Kane matches, or even a feud between D-Bryan and Kane, I'm all for it.
Credit to AJ's twitter account for that little gem.
In non-April Jeanette related news, TNA had a pretty decent show last week. I didn't catch all of it, as I had to go help my Uncle move, but what I caught was pretty good. If TNA doesn't hire Joey Ryan, Gut Check just needs to be over with. I understand hiring Silva (I think that was his name) because he's the first contestant and you need to give the contest a good name, but he looked like trash compared to Joey Ryan. Ryan has charisma, sort of looks like Rick Rude, and can wrestle. That's called the total package, damn it!
Smackdown was quite boring besides the Sheamus-Swagger match. I think that Swagger could really go somewhere as long as he has a manager. The guy sounds like fucking Daffy Duck when he speaks, and you know it's true. At least Cody Rhodes' lisp doesn't really affect his talking ability that much. Swagger (or as many like to call him, Thwagger) on the other hand, just can't talk in general, lisp or no lisp.
This is the part of the blog that I heap praise on Austin Aries, because, well, the guy deserves it. He's the longest reigning X-Division champ ever, and he's probably the best as well. He's got charisma, he can talk, wrestles better than seventy-five percent of TNA's roster, and he looks like a sorcerer with that cape he walks to the ring with. I think he's ready to move up to the world title picture after another month or so with the X-Division title.
Only problem is, I have no idea who would be good enough to take the title off of him. Christopher Daniels would always be a good choice, assuming the tag team with Kazarian doesn't work out. Hell, Kazarian could take the title too, they have quite literally nothing to do besides show us pictures of AJ Styles (my second favorite AJ) sucking Dixie Carter's face.
In conclusion, this week, TNA was far better than anything WWE had to offer, which came as a surprise. Maybe this will be good and get TNA some more fans if they continue on this upward trend. We all know that when there's competition, everybody has to step up their game, so I pray that TNA continues to arise to good quality Heaven. Also, AJ Lee.
