I know we've been over this subject before, but i still feel the need to go over it.

It seems to me that Ash might have gotten further in his journey sooner if people weren't so quick to cut him down. In seasons one and two, this came up frequently, he was still a beginner!

Did anyone stop to think that Ash was a braggart because that's the way Gary treated him? Gary's remarks were bound to have some effect, they also kinda hurtful. But did anyone care? No

Also, Misty could've been a lot nicer too, her comments in the earlier episodes almost sounded bad enough to make Ash want to quit and go home. And if he did and she followed, I certainly can't imagine Misty having the same welcome she got several episodes later, since at that point she was far from being Ash's friend.

Iris is even worse, she mocks him, when he's had several battles and has several Pokemon, while she barely has more than 4 (she even lost control of one for a bit)

And then there's Trip, i somehow doubt Trip would look down on Ash if he battled his Sceptile or Infernape

That's all i have to say
