I know I been absent lately....

Hey Guys, I am sorry I been absent for a while. I been going through some tough times. My real friends have completely ditched me / dont include me in anything anymore so I am trying to do other stuff to keep me busy. Recently my oldest cat who was 14 had to be put to sleep.

She stopped eating June 11th 2012. Didn't eat all day then the next day which was Tuesday she ate tuna and same for wednesday and thursday. Friday she stopped eating completely and saturday she stopped drinking. Sunday she was just so miserable and Monday I told mom to go take her to be put down because I didn't want to watch her suffer in pain while she died. So my mom took her to the vet and so I been grieving my cats death. sure people she was a cat but she wasn't just any cat. she was my best friend, my comfort tool, my sleep buddy. she was everything to me and I miss her so much.

Hey, don't sweat it--you have a right to grieve. If I had the time and was awake enough, I would go find my blog posts from when my own kitty died to show you how I reacted (I went berserk. Then again, my cat was ran over...). You're handling it very well, so just remember your kitty in her good times and even her bad times and laugh a lot, okay?

I'm not sure why your cat would starve yourself to death. It's an unexpected yet horrible way to lose a pet. :(

I've read that cats starve themselves before they die... I don't know why they would do that but they do. My friend's cat stopped eating in January but didn't die until February.
