So I haven't been on in... a month.
And here I'm going to rant about society and introverts.

So today, everyone who USED to be my friends had a big party to celebrate the end of term, nobody told me, and when I found out and asked why nobody told me, the immediate reaction from everybody was that I am "a killjoy".

And this made me very angry.

There is a difference between being outright depressing and a killjoy and being an introvert. We live in a society that favours extroverts, which is very frustrating from my point of view, because most people don't get to see what an introvert is like so they rely on bullsh*t stereotypes, i.e. introverts are depressing, rude, vain, don't know how to have fun, weird, lonely, best avoided. But an introvert is just someone who every once in a while wants to spend time with themselves, not because they're vain or upset or lonely, but because they find being around other people very tiring and need to take a break every once in a while. But sadly 90% of today's society cannot just f*cking accept that introverts are normal f*cking people as well. We're not otherworldly creatures that must be avoided at all costs because we will mess up your life, we're people too. We just like to have some time to ourselves occasionally. Seriously. No one understands that.

I ranted this to everyone who called me a killjoy, the most popular reaction was "piss off", others included "shut up, emo f*ck" or "go and cut your wrists, seriously" or something along those lines.

What a wonderful world we live in today.
