Racing the Mind

Random thoughts I decide to blog about.

  1. Japanese eBayers are the nicest people...

So, I've recently gone on a spree of buying lots of Poke merch online, and a lot of them come from Japanese sellers. Most of those Japanese eBayers include some extras just to be really nice! Some people send little notes, others send packets of green tea or candy, and I've gotten random cards, TCG or otherwise, from others.

One extra card that a seller included was actually one I had bid on a few months ago but lost! I was surprised when I opened it.

(I haven't blogged in months- oy. Forgot to mention my 2nd Bulbaversary a month ago.)

I love what Bulbagarden does for April Fools!

Time to look at the AG board again...

UPDATE: I really LOVE that musical/ Les Mis board! Les Mis is an epic show, but I like that general musicals thread.

... But I caught Latios in a regular Poke Ball. I soft resetted until I got a timid one, and had a few catches in Poke/ Great Balls.

The final catch was literally in the last Poke Ball, too, and I never even threw an Ultra Ball that time.

In other news, I can't pry my eyes off CNN's election coverage. Of course, the Democrat always wins NJ.

It's Saturday, and my mom's been without power since Monday when Sandy hit. She called me this morning and said she's been email volleying with the mayor of our town about when the power company is coming and that the southern section of town has been ignored. The big retail corridor was more important.

NJ is also implementing gas rationing in 12 counties in the northern and central parts of the state. Odd numbered license plates have to get gas on odd numbered days and even numbers ...
