Random thoughts I decide to blog about.
Finally reached my goal of making a team with one Pokemon from each generation! (after an evolution, that is) Caught a female Piloswine, so once she evolves I'll have that balanced-type team! My team also has 3 males and 3 females, while my Gen V teams were always 4 males/ 2 females.
Speaking of Mamoswine, that riding sequence is very silly. It's just your character sitting on top of a mound burying itself in snow! I think that running into Pokemon while in a giant snow bank is a

Ramos was defeated decently. (a little harder than I expected though) So was Clemont. I actually didn't need to grind too much to beat him.

I can't believe how far apart the first two badges are in these games! I give props to Game Freak for making more towns without Gyms, but I expected to battle Grant much sooner. It's a nice change of pace from Unova, though, but reminds me of how long it took to battle Hugh a second time in BW2.
There are some awesome visuals in XY! I love the little touches they added, like adding artwork, although I wish we could better looks at some of those paintings. The camera feature is really
I don't think I've still recovered.
Last weekend was absolutely exhausting, but rewarding. I knew NYCC would be off the hook when X and Y were announced to be released around the world that weekend. My big toe is still bruised.
So let's cut to the chase. I had a 4-day badge and cosplayed as a Litwick on Thursday and a Mega Absol on Friday and Saturday. Thursday night into Friday I was brazen enough to camp on the sidewalk outside Nintendo World to guarantee myself an
