Racing the Mind

So I was trading Magnemite, and the last one I got has Pokerus! I didn't know about it until Medal Man gave me the Pokerus medal. After I checked it in the PC, I started freaking out and my dogs got excited. I never dealt with Pokerus before!!

So, if I read Bulbapedia correctly, Pokerus doesn't go away if the Pokemon is kept in the PC? How long does it take to go away when it's in your party?

I'm in Mistralton right now. I'm only doing minimal EV training now during the main story. I don't wanna lose it yet!

So, since it's been almost a week since I last updated and I originally planned to include a pic of my C Gear, but grad school got in the way, here's what's happened to me since:

-Got over 1400 C Gear tags at NYCC! I'll make another blog post about how to do it when you're in a high traffic area like a con, for those who are still struggling.

-Elesa's Gym is AWESOME. Great staging.

-Clay's Excadrill was tough! I had an easy time in Black, but he was too much this time. I ended up using my Vaporeon as a meat shield while I revived my Servine, and then a Leaf Tornado missed so that made it tougher. Whiplash (the Servine) ended up KOing it anyway.

-I never expected that gang in Castelia. I just explored with Surf, and voila! It took my whole team to take the three of them down.

-PWT is such an awesome idea. Just the first time doing it looked really exciting.

And some spoiler-iffic comments because there are still people who haven't got to these parts yet:

-PROP CASE MAN GETS HIS OWN MEMORY LINK SCENE?!

-N, Anthea, and Concordia were feral orphans? Didn't see that coming.

-Wow, that boat scene referenced in the animated trailer came fast. I laughed hard at Hugh's "I'm gonna unleash my rage" line.

-So the Sages split into the good guys and bad guys.

-Cobalion's appearance made me cheer. So did N's off-screen lines in Chargestone Cave.

And why the heck can't I find N's Pokemon in Chargestone Cave? I found all the ones in Desert Resort after an hour or so, but after plowing through the cave without Repels I can't find a single one.
