Apparently, the US has signed a trade agreement that would not only have the same effects as passing SOPA, but would also outlaw production of counterfeit merchandise.

Don't get me wrong, I know that piracy/copyright infringement is illegal, but this would entail censorship of the internet and some aspects of real life as well...o.o

It's not hypothetical. The US is in fact pushing for countries to sign the bill, and practically every country in Europe except The UK has signed it; it's been under secret development since 2008, which WikiLeaks has some documents of the goings-on in the first year, and how they circulated fake initial revisions of the bill all over the net in late 2008.

So, tell me, is something fishy going on here or what? :3

Great. Just great. They are going to ban everything until nothing is allowed. Like all of Nintendo will be banned, all TVs will be banned, computers will be banned, and you will be banned.

The hell? Didn't they learn anything from the SOPA protests? Like, maybe, that something is WRONG with what they're trying to do?

None of you need to worry. These corrupted politicians will be put out on the streets, and be punished for this criminal act. Making laws like these WILL be illegal, and they will pay for taking away our rights. The punishment will be rather grim as well.
