Alex Day can fall into a deep fat fryer!

Whilst browsing I came across a video where a young man sings about Pokémon, the song is called Pokémon, What happened to you?

While the original games were great, he belittles Pokémon’s progression in the song, he also has songs doing the same for both Mario and Sonic.

This has ignited a strong rage in me for all people who say things like "There are only 151 Pokémon, the others are lies!"- that really pississ me off! Smug twats like that who seem to think it's cool to say you don't like the new and only appreciate the old just obviously have a low brain capacity, not being able to comprehend new features or being able to recite all of the types because of the inclusion of Steel and Dark. People who haven't got Black and White because they think the Pokémon are too different are the people that will never progress in life and never adapt.

Really had to get that of my chest, and I couldn't find a way of saying to the nitwit himself!

P.S. So sorry about the swearing, I don't normally talk like that and I won't be in future posts.

I used to like Alex Day since he's Charlieissocoollike's friend, but when I saw that song... No. Just no.
I do have a friend who thinks like this, and I plan to change it.

Its a good song.. for someone that hates the newer Pokemon of course. So in my opinion, its not that good because I love the newer Pokemon and games and everything. I like Alex Day, but Charlieissocoollike is so much better.

You could always ignore it/accept the fact that someone has a different opinion than you and go listen to his other great (Chameleon Circuit-related) songs.

People who haven't got Black and White because they think the Pokemon are too different are the people that will never progress in life and never adapt.

I fail to see how that makes someone stagnant. I hated Cartoon Network after they changed; does that mean I wouldn't progress in life too?

The new Pokémon are just disliked because they're inanimate objects, like ice creams. (BTW, may I take a mo to remind everyone that Vanilluxe has the highest base stat total of any pure Ice-type, and is tied with Lapras for all Ice-types?)

You must be talking about non-legendaries; otherwise, Articuno, Regice, and Kyurem easily beat Vanilluxe as far as BST goes. And even though it has a nice BST, its stats are rather poorly distributed; that, combined with a less-than-desirable movepool and the obvious burden of its Ice typing, prevents it from being great. It's a shame, though; I actually like Vanilluxe.

Not evil, but it does mean he'll be curbstomped by the stronger newer gen Pokemon because of how he limits his variety for developing teams for a Pokemon battle. A Pidgeot isn't capable of wrecking a Staraptor or a Krookodile.
