While the setting and other events vary, one thing is always the same, when the tornado comes towards me I try to run away but I run reeeally slow, like the tornado is sucking away all my speed. It’s annoying, because then I wake up and always get a shitty night’s sleep afterwards. Perhaps the dream is prophetic and one day I really will be sucked into one, or maybe my subconscious is just trying to tell me that I suck in general.
My trainer's name is Dipper by the way, and the team is currently Servine (Blackadder), Flaafy (Shaun) and Venipede (Faye). The music for the new routes is amazing, and I love the huge crunchy leaf piles on Route 20. Also your friendship with the rival is very heterosexual.

So in case it wasn’t obvious, I got Black 2 since it finally came out in Australasia today, and I must say so far it’s been well worth the baleful looks of judgement I received from the store clerks. Don’t worry Europe, there’ll be plenty of that for you too before you know it!

No, I didn’t take the last one, but my pictures don’t really capture how adorable and beautiful he is. Or how he liked to play with the zipper on his handler’s fly and screech at children. That’s what surprised me the most I think, how he was so friendly, cheeky and full of personality.

I noticed a couple of weird things while meeting him. Kākāpō kind of smell like flowers. A rare case of natural selection getting the body odour thing right methinks. Also their claws are huge and look really weird, like they belong on a reptile. Probably a testament to just how ancient these birds are.

I’m just so happy that a got to see one for real, and with programmes in motion to re-introduce them to certain nature preserves on the mainland, hopefully lots of other people will get the chance to as well.

Then how does one accomplish such a monotonous and utterly pointless feat? By being undead of course. If not, then you're doing it wrong, since wasting time is supposed to be fun. I spent a lot of time in the last five weeks I've been without internet on proactive, life-improving things.
It was horrible.
I'm finding myself browsing tumblr in my sleep. Google maps seems to project shortcuts along the backroads staight into my head, and they work some of the time! Occasionally I'll be sitting under a tree and sound of the rustling leaves will rearrange itself into irate people complaining about Iris. In a way, it's like the internet never left.

In other news I've recently befriended this enormous turkey after it started scavanging my breakfast cereal off the front lawn. Seriously this bird is like the Orson Welles of turkeys. I'm trying to think up a name, and I might go with Luna, since she's roughly the size of the moon. Any other suggestions?

Derpiness : 7
Usefulness: 3
Overall score:2
For the record, I think that meme about Seaking is utterly trite and unfunny, and doesn't endear the thing to me in the slightest. Seaking may be good at looking stupid, but even then it's far from being the best at it. At least Goldeen had that expression of perpetual disinterest going for it, it's evolution is completely lacking in any defining characteristics. Well, there is that horn, but then again I'm pretty sure whenever a Gen I design was decreed too bland, quality control just slapped a horn on it. A plain old horse, on fire? Give it a horn I say! White sea lion? Horn! Wasp larva? Let it penetrate things! That's the Kanto way!
Regardless of whether sexual frustration played a part in the design process, things aren't much better for Seaking in the battling department, what with it's generic options and horrid stats. I guess you could try to get it to be a sort of horrible impersonator of a decent Swift Swim Pokemon like Kabutops. But like a real Elvis impersonator, under the façade Seaking is still just a balding unemployed man who captures the worst aspects of the thing he's trying to emulate. So if mediocrity and blandness are your cup of tea, why not give Seaking a whirl? That's all I really have to say... this thing is boring me to tears, so with a Derpiness of 7 and usefulness of 3, I give an overall score of 2 for the goldfish. If you don't think that makes sense, then I recommend trying not to let it bother you too much.

That's all for now, one derpfish down; six to go. Marvellous.
