Adventures of a Bootleg Gameboy

Five dollars, you really can't go wrong, even if Sapphire got a bit nervous and flipped out on saving outside of the inside of a truck. I took my eyes away for a moment and was met back with a screen holding the Proffesor Birch's messenger bag, minus the pokeballs and with a circle and a spinning arrow paired with white text stating that the save failed, the backup memory would be checked and that a minute would be required with all this on a background of upside down reversed Rs and a bit of other letters.
The Emerald seems to be doing fine so far. The Emerald bootleg is named Jacred, after the glitch trainer, and Sapphire was named Togepi.
I look forward to seeing if the pair ever get to witness the ocean up front in Mr. Brineys tiny boat, or meet Steven on his quest for rare stones in a dark and murky cave... If they ever get as far as defeating the champions in their isolated games, Quinn, the genuine Ruby of the sad, sad trio will have a Flygon in Jacred's memory and a Salamance in Togepi's, and those to dragons will be brought through the generations from the shadowed and forgotten Gameboy generation to the light of the Unova region. Perhaps, they shall be greeted in their native Hoenn, only in a brighter light, connected to the rest of the world through the GTS, and being able to relive the stories told to them about their ilegitamite ancestry.
It is a dream today.
