Time to get Serious!

So I've been on forums before and wandered in and out of threads. However, I've never really been a 'part' of one if you catch my meaning. I'd like to be able to experience a genuine belonging on this great vast sea of internet and so I'm calling out to all you wonderful people on Bulbagarden to help me out.

I'm wondering what your suggestions might be as to a place where I can go on this big, big board and make a few friends, maybe get in tight with a group or two.

Lately I've been trying my best to reform my life and I feel that maybe becoming a part of the forum as opposed to the constant observer I've always been before might be a positive step in that process. Where can I learn, where can I party, where can I make friends and enemies and rivals?

Can you guys help me out or am I being completely ridiculous and silly?

Ignore maria, stay on the blogs. (Though going to Outside the Box is a great way to make friends.)

Good for you. Well I think joining social groups is a good way. I think there's even a group for aspiring voice actors. Last Poster Wins in Fun and Games is a great place to post random stuff, and conversations start easily there. There are also all kinds of places for talking about your opinions and expressing yourself. The 1st few months I was on the forum I had no friends. After a while of talking with people I finally got more confident. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I hope more comes in but if not I think I've got a start. Well it's time to begin exploring!
