Kid Icarus: Uprising

Hullo humans. I'm gonna rage about the Thanatos in the game.

First of all, what kind of God is that? Look at him. Just look.

OH MY GOD. He looks like a clown/ragdoll thing. Honestly, there are so many more cooler characters.

I would have liked it if they made him a huge serpentine creature, like the original Tanatos. Stil, if you imagined a god of the dead, would it be like him? Or not?

Also, regarding my name...I love reading greek mythology. I stumbled upon the name Thanatos some where, and have really liked it ever since. I think i found it in the Percy Jackson series. Or maybe the sequel series. Regardless, I'm not copying the one from the Kid Icarus series, because i seriously hate that guy.

*Just a note that this is my opinion. If you like the Thanatos from Kid icarus, please don't take this personally.

Well, I sort of think he's cool. But he's meant to be creepy, so imagine if he woke you up in the morning...

With that image, I think you might agree that his design is suitable. But whatever you think. The games aren't exactly the work of a mythology expert, so it doesn't matter all that much.

    He's so creepy, he's awesome

Thanatos is supposed to look like a demon I think. He has control over reapers who help him do his job. But Hades and Medusa, while both looking more human, also look a little off compared to the other human gods in the game, so I think it's just an underworld thing.

He does get reborn into a sort of dragon thing later in the game... [/slowpoke]

Thanatos design is sweet. Sure it doesn't match up with the Greek mythology , but that's the beauty of it, it's original.
