Well, this didn't go well.
I took on my rival and make quick work of him. I was confident in my team, so we headed to Mt. Moon.
The trainers posed no problems. I decided I should train up Meno before entering Mt. Moon. He died in the process...
I also killed both the pokemon from the routes outside of Mt. Moon and the Geodude in Mt. Moon itself.
I felt nervous entering Mt. Moon with just Plato and Sophia... Turns out I was right.
I'm excited for this challenge. I started up my LeafGreen cartridge and started a new game.
Normally I choose a color as my name (Red, Blue, etc... More recently, Yellow.) but this time I decided on Delph. My rival is named Kiza, after a friend of mine.
I decided to start with Bulbasaur. Can't be poisoned, super effective against the first two gyms. Seemed like a good idea. He recieved the name Plato.
Kiza's Charmander came dangerously close to finishing
First time trying a true Nuzlocke challenge, but I've fooled around with similar things before. Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released. (Maybe migrated to my SoulSilver) The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else.
