My first Wi-Fi battle

The opponent: some Japanese kid with a Zapdos, Tyranitar, and Landorus
Me: some Canadian kid with a Haxorus, Liepard and a Togekiss
It was my first Wi-Fi battle. I had some experience battling on Pokemon Online, but my friend @Jeshi; inspired me to try Wi-Fi. So I got a team ready and decided to wreak havoc.
My first challenge was Zapdos. Oh, how I loathe legendaries. But I started with Haxorus, so I proceeded to spam Outrage until I won. The second Pokemon they pulled was Tyranitar, who finished my Haxorus off with Pursuit when I tried to switch it out. The Tyranitar also destroyed my Togekiss.
Without much hope, I sent out my Liepard, Lovely. Thank god the opponent's Pokemon were both male, because I could not have won if it were not for Attract spam. With uncanny luck, Liepard switched between Attract and other moves, keeping the much stronger Pokemon from attacking. If either of them were to land a hit on her, I would be sunk.
He caught on to my strategy pretty quick, and would switch out to avoid effects. Luckily, I was able to predict his counter and counter his counter with my own counter.
Finally, it was down to Tyranitar and Lovely. With pure luck and belief in my Pokemon, I was able to win by the skin of our teeth. Here's to you, random Japanese kid with a bald guy for an avatar. You lost to lovely lady luck, but were very skilled and much better than me. I would not want to battle you again because I'm pretty sure you would win.
