The Best and Worst of Ground Pokemon

Honorable mentions: Phanpy, Donphan, Excadrill, Toterra
Looks: It's another middlle stage, the perfect balance between the limbless Tympole and the frog Seismitoad. Obviously. It's a weird chew toy and it's so weird, I can't not love it.
Strength: Its moveset is so shallow, which is a shame. I pretty much HAVE to use Hydro Pump/Hyper Voice/Mud Shot/Sludge Wave is what I usually default to. Luckily Seismitoad gets Drain Punch, but I dislike how I have to breed to get things like Mud Bomb on it.
Why I like it: Now this one I wasn't expecting. But as I looked through the list of Ground Pokemon, I found myself really, really liking Palpitoad.
Other: I love its voice, both in the anime and in the games. The dub gives it a guttural sort of tone, an it sounds like its voice is actually vibrating. Its game cry is a vibrating trill, which is also pretty cool.
Honorable mentions: Diggersby, Sandslash, Dugtrio
Looks: It looks like a flying pizza. While all three Wormadam are pretty ugly, Sandy Cloak has the "honor" of being the most physically atrocious.
Strength: Ahaha ahaha ha haaaah. Yeah, no. This species is terribad, and Sandy Cloak pales in comparison to Steel Cloak.
Why I dislike it: It can't fight, it's ugly, and there's nothing really outstanding about it aside from the type gimmick. Burmy's cloak changes was a really clever idea, but now Wormadam is locked into a form, so it loses that novelty in exchange for a secondary type.
Other: Flying soggy pizza bug.
Norzan suggested Dragon, but I already started working on Ground by the time he suggested it. I'll do Dragon next.
