Krakling. From "Crackling", as in crackling fire, and Kraken. Caldaripod, from specifically volcanic cauldron and cephalopod might work, but literally it means "cauldron-feet" which is silly.
I like the idea of a water/fighting type squid from Smogon's fakemon website better.
