Strange, there are a bit fewer Fire types than I thought there was. Anyway, Darmanitan is picked mostly on battling merit as apposed to aesthetic stuff. I mean, it's totally cool-looking with those eyebrows and the Jack Nicholson-like murderous grin, it's eyes completely void of all emotion and mercy just waiting to serve you a haymaker with those monster fists. It's fast and it hits like a train. On fire. You give it the Life Orb and bam- you're blasting your opponents with a 140 Base Attack + Life Orb + Sheer Power + STAB Flare Blitz.
That Ferrothorn just ain't getting back up after that, man.
Least favorite Fire Type:
Look, let's just get this out there: I hate the monkeys. They're ugly, stupid, uninspired trash that I refuse to use. I can handle using ugly-looking Pokemon, but ugly and stupid-looking. That's a stretch. And Simisear is probably the stupidest looking out of all three of them. No wait...scratch that, I just remembered what the Water bastard looked like. And the worst thing is that the fuckers are everywhere in Gen V. Almost every other third trainer had them or their satanic offspring. I think it's obvious now that it's Grass- and Water counterpart is going to be chosen as my least favorite in those respective categories, so let's count them out, otherwise it gets repetitive and I'd hate to have to look at them more than necessary lest I get a headache.
