Have you ever tried Pandora Hearts? It's pretty good and the music is especially beautiful. The characters are interesting and likeable, too.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion was really enjoyable and brilliant as well, in my opinion.

You know, i did try to see PH, but i don't even know the reason why i didn't like it, and you know, i had thought of watching Code Geass, so i'll consider it, thanks.

I'm seeing a sad lack of Gurren Lagann.

You could try Hunter x Hunter and s-cry-ed. If you want ideas, you could just check the list of anime's at animecrazy.

Oh, and 5 cm per second is a must of a movie. Everyone needs to watch that before they die, seriously.
I also found colorful to be a really good animated movie.
