Sore throat + Summer = Kill me already

Having a sore throat in the summer is the worst thing ever... EVER. Ugh.
I've been having it since last Thursday, I think, and it of course it came in worst week possibly too. The plan was to make a trip to Stockholm (the capital of Sweden, in case someone wasn't aware of that) along with 7 friends of mine and stay there for a whole week at a hotel, and during that week we were just going screw around in the city visiting an amusement park, do some shopping, and other stuff, but due to me getting cold at the most inconvenient time ever I've been forced to stay at home.
Now, my friends are sweet and insisted on delaying the trip until the cold was over, but since we all already had booked tickets and all I felt rather awful for their money going to waste, so no. Still, it really makes me hate myself when I see the pictures on facebook, instagram and twitter as they all are seeming to have a blast. I should just post my own pictures of all the soup, medicine, disgusting pastilles and piles of paper towels that I've been starting to become great buddies during this dreadful week and say that I'm having the best of my life.
Thankfully my cold has started to perish now, so I should be alright in a couple of days.
So, what have I been during this horrible time? Well, I've finally taken the time to continue my rewatch of the whole Pokémon series (which has been going since last year, I think?) and to finally watch some horrible Battle Dimension episodes. I tend to go on a hiatus during the DP saga, while I'm pretty much rushing through my favorite saga AG. I always realize that rushing through AG is a bad mistake once the DP saga starts, but meh, what can you do? Harley is just the most amazing thing that ever happened to this animé, so I can't help it.
I did once in a while watch some Total Drama Island/Storm Hawks episodes though. They never fail to put a smile on my face when I'm on the bottom of depression, and I feel like I should be more grateful to the creators of those series.
Ehum... well, that's it, I guess. I'm really no good at making blog posts, and it's understandable if you barely read through the first sentence, but what can you do when you're ill?
Until next time, Best Wishes!
