I just want to beat something up so badly right now... EV-training and me aren't really compatible with each other.

Here I was, creating my future team in Black for a New Game in White (y'know, for the hype of B2W2), and with Snivy being my first candidate I immediately gave it 10 Proteins as well as 10 Carbos. Then, I went straight ahead to the training, starting off by battling some Patrat and Lillipup, with my Snivy being infected by PokéRus, as well as carrying a Power Bracer (I think?), so naturally I had it face 15 Lillipup/Patrat. Then I did the same thing for the Speed stat, and later I also added four EV's for HP.

I felt like I had counted correctly, aiming my complete attention towards the game, and being very cautious, so confident (and stupid) as I was I saved the game. Then, I went to the lady in Opelucid City, just to confirm that my training had gone correctly, even though I already was 99% sure that it was just perfect. But then, it happens....

''Your Snivy... looks like it can try a little harder.

WHAT?!?

Excuse me, but can you repeat that? *Presses the A-button once more (y'know, just in case my eyes were playing me a trick)*

''Your Snivy... looks like it can try a little harder.

..... Kill me.

''Alright, it's not that bad,'' I first thought. ''I probably just missed a battle or two at either Speed or Attack.''
So, I went back to the routes, facing one more Lillipup, and then one more Basculin. Then I returned back to the lady, only to hear the same darn phrase. And then I saved again, since I already have saved earlier and messed it all up, so it really didn't matter, and I decided to try and add some Zinc, just to see how many EV's it lacked, or if it even could take a Zinc considering it comes with 10 EV's.

Snivy could take 6 Zincs...

I went completely furious, and turned off the game. Apparently, I must've made some huge misses, since it was quite a lot of EV's that were missing, but I was too angry to face it, so I just threw the DS away, and I'm not planning on picking it up anytime soon.

EV-training sucks.
